Our Story

At the age of 15, our founder Laura started cleaning homes with her mom in Mineola, Texas. After graduating from High School, she moved to Galveston, TX where she noticed a need for residential cleaning services. At the time, Laura had met someone that was in the property management business who managed an in-house cleaning crew. I asked him why he had his crew instead of hiring someone else. He was quick to tell me that he could not find anyone to clean “his way,” so he hired his own crew to handle the cleaning. After doing some research, Laura decided to break out and start her own cleaning business.

After several years in the Residential cleaning business, Laura branched out into the commercial cleaning sector and found out there was a big need there. She quickly learned that the commercial industry wants to hire a company that will clean their businesses like they clean their homes. So that’s how Laura trains her employees. She trains every cleaning pro to clean a business, just as you would clean someone’s home.

Laura started her own business in 2012 and she loves every aspect of the cleaning business.

We perform all of our work ourselves using our highly trained staff.

All employees are put through 160 hours of training.

Because most janitorial work is done at night, it can be difficult to contact self-employed vendors in the morning. But at Laura’s Maids, our phones are answered 24/7, 365 days a year by a live person.

We pride ourselves by contacting everyone in person regularly, and we stay in touch over the phone and via email to ensure that there are no issues.


Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes! We carry high limits of Insurance.
